About the Author
P. J. O'Dwyer is an award-winning author and an active member of Romance Writers of America. Born in Washington, D.C., and the oldest of five children, P. J. O'Dwyer was labeled the storyteller of the family and often accused of embellishing the truth. Her excuse? It made for a more interesting story. The proof was the laughter she received following her version of events.


Today, P. J. lives in western Howard County, Maryland, with her husband Mark, teenage daughter Katie, and their cat Scoot and German Shepherd FeFe in a farmhouse they built in 1998.

While writing is her passion, she finds teaching the craft as an adjunct college professor is the most rewarding.� She's always eager to share her experiencs in the publishing industry in hopes that her journey will inspire her students to realize their own dreams of becoming a published author.�

When asked where she gets her ideas for her stories, she laughs ruefully and says, "It helps being married to a cop." Actually, she admits, "Every day I find a wealth of possible stories and plots in the most unsuspecting place--my daily life."

Couldnt put this book down. Dani accidentally forced out of her homeland to the her absentee fathers country is arrested by the county sheriff. Fear, love , mystery and murder in both countries need to be resolved can Dani trust the sheriff enough to trust him with the truth.

In this book, Jon Adams evaluates key episodes of technical change in the ways that ships were conceived, designed, built, used and disposed of. As technological puzzles they have long confounded explanation but when viewed in the context of the societies in which they were created, mysteries begin to dissolve. Shipbuilding is social practice and as one of the most complex artefacts made, changes in their technology provide a lens through which to view the ideologies, strategies and agency of social change.



Adams argues that the harnessing of shipbuilding was one of the ways in which medieval society became modern and, while the primary case studies are historical, he also demonstrates that the relationships between ships and society have key implications for our understanding of prehistory in which seafaring and communication had similarly profound effects on the tide of human affairs.

Jannah Mather is Dean of the University of Utah College of Social Work and the co-author of UNDERSTANDING GENERALIST PRACTICE WITH FAMILIES. She has over 20 years of experience in private practice, in-patient therapy, and family services. She has a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University, MSW from the University of Utah and a PhD from Florida International University. Recognized as a leader in all aspects of child welfare services, Dr. Harris is the primary author of national guidelines in child protective services. She is active in child welfare policies and practice at the local state and national levels.

An important and timely book

The American Militant Nationalist Manifesto is an important book. And that is true for several reasons. First and foremost, because the authors say things that need to be said. Second, because the time is right for it, especially in view of the staggering events of this year in Europe and, to a lesser extent, in the United States—for now. And third, because it makes accessible to a general readership some of the ideas of Oswald Spengler and Francis Parker Yockey. And if the authors owe a debt to Spengler and Yockey, it is also true that Yockey and Spengler now owe a debt to the Vandal Brothers for making those ideas accessible to that readership. Nevertheless, the book is far from a mere re-hash of Spengler or Yockey, for the authors have also included their own insights and ideas.

The book is written in clear prose to express historical truths and philosophical insights. Indeed, part of the book's power arises from the combination of the clear and insightful diagnosis of contemporary ills—political, cultural, social, economic, and even sexual—with the clear and readable prose style. Also, these are uniquely American voices. In fact, there is something about the tone of the work that recalls Jonathan Edwards and Thomas Paine.

There is no beating around the bush; the ideas are definite and they are definitely expressed. The ideas and insights are expressed in a forceful literary style that befits the two authors themselves, who are not only twin brothers but also US Marines. Sacco & Vanzetti Vandal are, in fact, their real names, which is fitting indeed, for some of the ideas expressed and treated in this work are truly radical, although the Vandal Brothers can hardly be called anarchists. But as they themselves point out, desperate times call for desperate measures. And we do live in desperate times.

The authors place their ideas into the context of Western History, frequently alluding to important figures and events of our collective past—from such as MacArthur, Truman, Samuel P. Huntington, and the Mexican War, to Clausewitz, Robespierre, Lycurgus, and the American Revolution. It is clear that they have read their history—and understood it.

One of the reasons that this work is both important and timely is that the year of its publication—2015—will go down in American history and in World history not only as one of almost unbelievable change, but also because of the nature of that change and because the changes wrought during the year so perfectly illustrate of the truth of the authors' ideas, which focus on, among other things, the corruption and decay of the original American Republic—the Republic bequeathed to us by our ancestors—and how the events of this year shine a glaring light on that corruption and decay. The authors see very clearly that the American people have lost control of their government.

It is in discussing the causes of that loss of control that the authors have written what might be the best definitions this reviewer has ever read of "conservatism," "liberalism," and "libertarianism." Those definitions appear in the opening section of the book, which is titled America. It is the first of six major divisions of the work, the others being Militarism, Nationalism, Economic Nationalism, Democracy, and Conclusion. These definitions alone would make the book worth twice its price, but the Vandal Brothers go much further than defining these terms. They explain—satisfactorily—why modern Western man's abandonment of Nature itself has brought America to the low point at which she finds herself today. They explain how economic prosperity has been deliberately taken away from the middle classes—the backbone of the country—through a combination of errors in political and philosophical thinking. But they also explain that economic prosperity is not a sound or sufficient foundation for Culture and that Utopia is simply not an option in this world.

They repeatedly call upon Americans to return to reality by accepting the unalterable fact that human nature is real; that facts of Nature and Science are real and inescapable; and that continuing to pretend that there are not natural limits on human action is a recipe for disaster; a disaster that must be not only political but which must encompass the entirety of human life.

​Since this is a manifesto rather than a call to action, the authors offer a diagnosis of current problems, with less emphasis on what should be done, although there are such suggestions. ​Among their suggestions are a return to patriarchy; land reform; acceptance of the fact of America's military power and its use, but not, as the neo-cons would have it, for the benefit of the rest of the world or, as the liberals would have it, for use as a sort of muscular Red Cross, but for the benefit of America and her true people. While calling for an immediate halt to all immigration, both legal and illegal so that the country may have the time needed to absorb the immigrants already here, they also assert that there is, in fact, a real American Nation, and they reject the now-fashionable notion—I won't call it an idea—of America as nothing more than a "proposition" nation.

Radical ideas, as pointed out already. And the few radical ideas mentioned in this brief review are nothing but the tip of the iceberg. For the rest, order the book and read it. I read it in two sittings, but you might do it in one. It makes the reader want to keep turning the pages. Highly recommended.

This book is a great outline for what must be done in order to retake America from the hands of the enemy that has controlled her for far too long. As you can see in the reviews there is always a coward hiding behind the Internet. They prefer to put their hand out and expect money and then if they are told no they are the first to scream racism etc etc. COWARDS ALL! The time for Nationalism is here and the time for leftist ideals is a lot like the dog crap in the yard; it stinks and it isn't worth a crap.

You will pass your NCLEX with this book!

A must do if you want to pass your NCLEX. I took the test the first time and failed (with the max. amount of questions) because I was bordering the passing line. Then, I bought this, did all the questions and read the rationales ---and also did Kaplan's review questions--- and passed after just studying 2 weeks with 75 questions!

The trick is, you've learned the skills in your nursing studies, if you did well in your classes, that means you know the content and skills. But what the NCLEX tests you on is, as this book says: prioritization, delegation, and assignment, that's required of a RN. And this book teaches helps you see how the questions are asked so that you don't get distrated by the distractors!

Very Useful! In school and in a practical way!

I have heard many things about this book from people in school and on this site. Before buying this book, I had even borrowed a friend's and looked through it to see if it was something that would be useful to me. And I thought it was, so I bought it.

I haven't read all of it just yet, just some parts here and there, and let me tell you, it is useful because you WILL learn something from this book. I saw a number of reviews on this site that would say something along the lines of this this book sort of helping them but not really since they didn't see a lot of questions on the NCLEX like the ones in the book. Yes, maybe that is true. But just because the book says its for NCLEX examination, doesn't mean that's all it should be used for. Think a little outside the box. There are a lot things mentioned in the book that will help you as a nurse to prioritize better in the clinical arena, which isn't always covered in any other nursing textbooks or classes.

I personally find this to be a good resource, for both my exam and just in general.

I bought this book after reading reviews. I used this along with Saunders Comprehensive NCLEX review book and it really helped me PASS the NCLEX. Prioritization is so important on the NCLEX and understanding what needs to be addressed first. This book really lays it out so you get it. Strongly encourage you to purchase these two books. It made a huge difference.
