"Review of Clinical Anesthesia, Sixth Edition" is a superb textbook, and it is considered to be one of the best of the Anesthesiology textbooks written in the question-and-answer format. It is very well-organized into chapters that are extremely concise and focused. It provides an excellent review of the fundamental principles of the specialty of Anesthesiology, as well as thorough coverage of the subspecialty areas of Anesthesiology practice. Used in conjunction with one of the comprehensive textbooks of Anesthesiology, this very useful question-and-answer manual serves to permanently imprint the key concepts that are an essential component of the knowledge base of every resident. It truly functions as the ideal complement to a comprehensive textbook of Anesthesiology, when preparing for the ABA written board examination.
